Discover Blackwater Anglers a place to forget your worries. A short mile and a half from Blackwater Village takes you to the tranquil surroundings of the family run Blackwater Anglers. Here you can calmly pass the hours fishing our stocked lake of Rainbow and Brown Trout who feed on the lakes selection of insect life. Our lake is fed from a spring through sandstone rock.

Fishing on our lake is by fly with flyrod and reel only. However, for the non-experienced or beginner visitor you may use a bubble in a designated area of the lake to fish.

Each session permits 2 fish to be taken home, after this we operate a strict "Catch and Release" policy on our lake to preserve stock and ensure larger fish for future years.

The lake is open to visitors from 1st April to 31st December. 9.00am till dusk - 7 days a week.

Located 2km off the N25 ( on the R733), Oaklands is stocked with Carp, Tench, Bream and Rudd Carp up to 7kg. The
Facility is 4.5 acres in size with 60 stands. Our facilities are all wheelchair friendly.
The Car Park is located 40 metres from the lake. Day Tickets and Concessions
are available. Shop on site stocked with all requirements; live bait, rod hire, rod
& reel sales. We are agents for salmon and trout licence.

Located in the centre of Co. Wexford, in Ireland's sunny south east, Loch Mahon offers the perfect setting for both fly and bait fishing. Experienced fly fishers, beginners, adults and children are all welcome at Loch Mahon Lakes.

Set in a secluded valley, Loch Mahon has three freshwater fishing lakes. One lake, dedicated to fly fishing only, is regularly stocked with quality rainbow trout up to 10lbs. The other two lakes are open to both fly and bait fishing  

Charters - Sea

Conger, Ling, Pollock and Cod are some of the more common species caught. All the charter boats listed are fully insured and Department of the Marine registered for 12 passengers. Most have tackle for hire. Pleasure and sightseeing charters are also popular, with dolphins, seals and rare bird species to be observed.

It is easy to reach the rich fishing grounds of Hook head. Specimen fish are just waiting to be caught. Wreck fishing and general ground angling will produce excellent mixed catches of conger, ling, Pollock, coalfish and cod. Shark fishing will provide good sport with catches up to 100lbs during the summer months.

The modern electronics on our boat include radar, plotter, G.P.S. colour sounders, V.H.F.s, Auto Pilot, T.V. and Video D.G.P.s.

Full safety equipment plus toilet and galley makes your trip both safe and very enjoyable.
