Wexford's most famous festival, the Wexford Festival Opera takes place in October. This unique event attracts opera lovers from all over the world and offers something for all tastes as there is a wide a varied Fringe Festival which incorporates Art Exhibitions, Concerts, Recitals, Lectures, and of course the Guinness Swinging and Singing Pubs competition.  There are however many other exciting events taking place in every corner of Wexford throughout the year from Seafood Festivals to Story Telling Events, The Strawberry Festival, Art in The Open, Blackstairs Blues Festival  and even a Sand Sculpting Festival to name but a few.  This list will whet your appetitite but for more detailed information on various Festival Programmes please log on to the "News" section of our website.
