Enniscorthy & The Slaney Valley
Built on the River Slaney, 15 miles from Wexford Town,
Enniscorthy has many famous heritage sites. Saint Aidan’s Cathedral is also located in the Town Centre and Vinegar Hill the famous 1798 commemoration site is situated nearby, but Enniscorthy has much more to offer, good shopping and dining out with excellent accommodation. The Town of Bunclody is located just seven miles from Enniscorthy, nestled in the foothills of Mount Leinster, the highest peak of the Blackstairs Mountains, from the top of Mount Leinster you can view the counties of Carlow, Kilkenny, Waterford and Wexford and the view is superb.
Bunclody is a beautiful market town, set in a lovely location away from the busier bigger towns, it offers a more relaxing
break, yet it is close enough to visit all areas in the County. There are superb accommodation and leisure facilities.
